University of Windsor Formed in 1857, the University of Windsor offers more than 190 majors and minors. The campus serves 14,088 students and is located in Windsor, Ontario adjacent to the Detroit River. It is also Canada's southernmost university.

University of Windsor scholarships: Windsor's Admission Scholarships are automatically awarded to student's that apply for full-time first-year studies. Automatic merit-based awards ranging from $500 (for students with admission averages 80-84.9%) to $16,000 for students with admission average of 95% or higher.
