    The University of New Brunswick (UNB) was established in 1785 and now boasts two campuses located in the cities of Fredricton and Saint John. UNB is Canada's oldest English-language university. The University serves over 10,000 students from more than 100 countries. A full 50% of high school applicants receive scholarships.

    UNB Saint John, in partnership with Dalhousie University and the government of New Brunswick, is home to the province’s first English-language medical school. UNB is also home tp the world’s first research centre in dermoskeletics, a new field that focuses on the interaction between the human body and its environment while assisted by a skin-type motorized mechanism.

    UNB was named Canada’s Most Entrepreneurial University by Startup Canada in 2014 and has launched 23 start-ups in the last two years. The University houses six entrepreneurial centres and integrates experiential learning into its academic programs.
